A discussion document to inform the South Australian Secondary Principals Association Strategic Plan 2007-10.

At the core of this document are 4 strategic themes of importance. They are:

• Leadership development and support

• Curriculum, students and pedagogy

• Resourcing

• Advocacy for secondary education

These themes will drive the ongoing activity of SASPA and will be the focus on the structure and operations of SAPA in order to achieve its vision and continue the ongoing engagement and support of its members.

Each one of these themes will be underpinned by efficient management support, communication and operational responsiveness.

SASPA will work towards a strong united voice based on informed positions and an assertive stance on key issues. These will be informed by a, research and evidence base and form SASPA policy.

Networking, establishing powerful relationships, strong alliances and connections and building productive strategic partnerships will also be an approach SASPA will concentrate on in order to achieve its outcomes.
